Tesco, Amazon, GAME, ShopTo and GameStation each come with their own exclusive offerings for the upcoming title, which one will you be getting?
Dishonored is the latest IP from the studio that brought The Elder Scrolls series to the world and anyone who has played their latest instalment in the franchise, Skyrim, will know just what kind of a pedigree the studio has.
So when the studio announced it was developing a new game heads immediately turned and the trailer for the game turned heads some more and the game has a fair amount of hype surrounding it.
Bethesda is not resting on its laurels though and seems certain the game will be a success, unlike Rage, and has released a laundry list of pre-order updates that can be availed from specific retailers.
The online retailing giant, Amazon.com, gets a number of incentives to attract consumers towards putting their money down to pre-order from the site. The retailer is offering the Acrobatic Killer Downloadable Upgrade Pack.
The pack includes a number of in-game content pieces such as River Affinity, which increases the rate at which players swim. It also comes with the Raven, which gives players a help bonus for every drop-down assassination.
Players will also be able to dodge bolts and arrows with a bonus in that particular skill thanks to the Quick Dodge ability. At the same time the Hagfish in-game statue will allow players to start the game with one additional bone charm slot.
The package also comes with an Unhidden Book titled, “Rumours and Sightings: Daud” as well as 500 Bonus Coins.
Tesco on the other hand is offering the Shadow Rat Downloadable Upgrade Pack, which comes with a number of abilities and bonuses of its own. Starting with the provocatively titled, Voyeur ability, which magnifies the image when players peep through a key-hole, and also the Delicate Touch bonus which allows players to break glass with reduced noise.
Next up is the Deep Breather bonus, which allows the game’s protagonist to breathe longer underwater thanks to an underwater breathing capacity bonus. An in-game statue is also unlocked via the pre-order as players will be able to make use of the Golden Rat Statue, which also unlocks one extra slot for the bone charm.
The game also comes with a 500 coin bonus and the “Filed Notes: The Royal Spy” Unhidden Book as well.
Shop.to.net comes with the Backstreet Butcher Downloadable Upgrade Bonus which is perfectly suited to those who plan on taking a more action oriented approach to the game and GAME and GameStation are both offering a special edition of the game that comes with a 72 tarot card deck for the Dishonored branded, ‘Game of Nancy’ game as well as the Arcane Assassin Downloadable Upgrade Pack.
