Boush the Tinker is a ranged intelligence burst hero that is very annoying to deal with. He is arguably the only hero in the game that needs Boots of Travel. With them, he can be in and out of a team fight and then suddenly be on the other side of the map, applying pressure.

His first skill named Laser. It is a single-target ability that deals 320 pure damage on impact. It will also apply a 3-second negative buff that will cause the intended target to miss on a 100% of their attacks during this duration.

Heat-Seeking Missile is Tinker’s second ability. It is an active skill that will launch 2 rockets at the nearest visible 2 enemy heroes in an enormous 2500 range. If successful, these rockets will deal a 325 magical damage.

Tinker’s third skill is named March of the Machines. It is a point ability that will spawn a minefield of sorts in a 900 Area of Effect (AoE). They will continue to spawn and dissipate during a 6-second period and each one will explode for 40 damage if it hits a target.

Tinker’s ultimate is named Rearm. When activated, it effectively takes all of his spells and items off cool-down. At Level 3, Rearm will take 350 mana to use, while needing a 1-second cast time. Rearm itself does not have a cool-down, so you can practically cast this multiple times in team fights. Of course you will need mana to support this. Regular trips to fountain for mana refill are extremely common will Tinker, both because he desperately needs them and also because he can make these trips without any trouble after he gets Boots of Travel, thus making the latter an absolute necessity on him.

Before you say that Tinker’s ultimate is completely broken, just keep in mind that it will not work on certain items, including Black King Bar (BKB), Helm of the Dominator, Arcane Boots, Refresher Orb and Necronomicon. There is no need to feel disappointed as you can still use items such as Dagon and even Hex multiple times. It is a real treat to watch an enemy carry hero staying in permanent sheep state during the course of the battle, thus turning the odds heavily in the favour of your team.

Tinker is heavily reliant on level and therefore will be seeing in solo lane. While he desperately needs mana, which obviously requires gold, he can get his items even quicker through getting kills by ganking side lanes every few minutes rather than simply sticking to his own lane and last-hitting creeps. His excellent burst damage capabilities are matched by none in the game and therefore he is considered among one of the best gankers in the game.
