Yurnero the Juggernaut is a melee carry hero who lanes extremely well as he can easily get early kills with the right team set-up.
His first skill is named Blade Fury. It is this skill that makes it a nightmare to lane against him early game. At its maximum level, Blade Fury allows Yurnero to deal 140 magical damage per second in a 250 Area of Effect (AoE), with the skill lasting for a duration for 5 seconds. While the skill is activated, you will also have magical immunity, which is a huge plus since enemies will neither be able to nuke you nor disable you, thus getting left with no option but to try and get away from you. It is also a great ability to make a getaway as using a teleport scroll after you start spinning will prevent your enemies from stunning you.
Yurnero’s second skill is named Healing Ward. Just as the name suggests, you can summon a movable healing ward that at Level 4 heals for a ridiculous 5% of health per second in a 350 AoE. The ward lasts for 25 seconds. As the heal is based on the percentage of health instead of a fixed amount, the skill scales extremely well into late game. It is especially effective for team fights and pushes. The position is a key as it only has 1 hit-point (HP).
Blade Dance is Juggernaut’s third ability. It is a passive skill that allows him to hit like an absolute beast for the entire game. At Level 4, it gives him a 35% chance to critical strike for double his damage.
Finally we get to Yurnero’s ultimate Omnislash. It is a very powerful skill that works better with fewer targets in an area. It is a single-target ability that will allow you to jump from one target to another, dealing anywhere between 175-250 physical damage with an interval of 0.4 seconds. At Level 3, you can do this up to 9 times. One of the benefits of this skill is that you can become invulnerable during the entire duration. In many cases when you catch an enemy hero all alone, you can end up killing him with just this skill. Also note that the first slash does mini-stun, does cancelling channelling spells such as teleportation.
Aghanim’s Scepter can be picked up by Juggernaut as it increases the number of slashes he deals from 9 to 12.
Juggernaut is a popular hero especially in pub games as he is a really strong hero killer, a thing that some stat-obsessed players give more significance than to actually winning the game. Blade Fury, Blade Dance and Omnislash make him a much-feared adversary and things can get even more violent once he manages to farm enough to get his core items.
