Part 2: Wishfree.com goes through the Vita’s roster of titles and pick out the five games that you absolutely must own in order to extract the maximum gaming pleasure that the console has to offer.

After taking a look at two games that should be avoided by Vita owners, unless they get an offer they can’t refuse, we take a look at some of the titles that should have consumers offering fists full of their hard earned money at.

No PlayStation product released since 2008 can be complete without an Uncharted title and the PlayStation Vita is no different. Although Naughty Dog had very little to do with Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the game managed to capture the sense of adventure, scale and quick wit that has made the series one of the biggest in the industry.

Golden Abyss is an impressive title as it demonstrates how every single feature of the Vita can be used to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Whether it aiming through the lens of a sniper rifle by physically moving the console, touching the screen to execute commands, climbing up ropes using the rear touch pad or making charcoal markings by rubbing one’s finger across the screen, all of the elements come together nicely to make this a rich Uncharted experience.

In fact, one often wonders how much better the console versions of the game could be if the Vita was able to be used as the controller instead of the Dual-Shock. The storyline has the same sense of scale as any blockbuster and the cinematic experience is all there as well.

Any PlayStation Vita owner who does not own or has not played this game needs to reassess their life’s priorities. It would be the same as going to a football match (owning a Vita) and looking at the seat in front of you the whole time instead of a watching an exhilarating match (playing Uncharted: Golden Abyss).

The single-player campaign will last you over six-hours and then there is all that treasure to collect on the second play through as well. The only downside is that fact that there is no multiplayer.

The game is easily one of the must-haves on the PlayStation Vita, and although it is not a unique experience, bar the few extra Vita-only features, it is the type of game that will allow console owners to make the perfect transition on to the portable console and then maybe on to other gems, such as Lumines Electronic Symphony, details of which can be found in the next part of this article.
